AES was founded by Mike and Talana Foley in 2013.  Mike started with the family’s construction business at a young age, then pursued a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering and enjoyed a 15 year career in the aerospace and defense industry before returning to construction.  Mike’s experience with systems engineering and quality assurance in these industries leads to a passion for cutting edge building methods and a meticulous attention to detail.  These traits are built into the core culture of AES and allow AES to execute projects that many other insulation companies cannot.

Talana manages the AES office accounting, contracts, human resources, takeoffs and estimating, and IT.  She is a Texas Licensed Professional Engineer in Mechanical Engineering, who also has over 17 years of Aerospace and Defense experience.  She is known for her leadership, organization, and self-starter skills, strong work ethic and morals, outside the box design thinking, and ability to work with any team.  In addition to her company duties, she has a background in agriculture, having grown up helping operate the family’s cattle ranch in New Mexico, and now raises Registered Angus Cattle outside Van Alstyne, TX. 

Jeff Foley, Mike’s brother, is the construction manager for AES.  He brings professional experience in construction, design and manufacturing of oil field equipment, and integration of hydraulics and electronics to the company, along with a strong work ethic and a passion for quality.  Jeff’s drive and motivation set the standard for the rest of the construction staff in the company and help AES stand out from the competition.
